Self-aware horror movies will always be a good time, they know what people want and get straight to the point. Ben knew exactly what we wanted.

The movie gives us a pretty simple narrative but honestly, that's all it needs because we're here to see a chimp terrorise a bunch of teens and the result makes for a pretty fun watch.

Miguel Torres Umba puts his absolute all into this movie and his performance as Ben is very intense. In a world of big-budget animal movies, Primate doesn't really fall behind in its visual quality considering the small scale of the movie.

It was a fun time if you're with a group of friends and want to watch some Cujo-type savagery but ultimately, I'm not gonna recommend anyone rushes to the cinema for this one.
